About Yaranu Nissim

The Yaranu Nissim institutions, led by Rav Refael Rubin, have been active for over 21 years — starting from a single modest weekly lesson that quickly grew into a groundbreaking movement in Netanya and far beyond. Today, lessons and events run almost around the clock, every day, for a wide audience of every age and background.

At the heart of it all is the idea of the "Jewish Heart" — the belief that everyone carries a spark of the soul just waiting to be awakened. The lessons and activities are built around four core values — love of the Land, gratitude, unconditional love, and helping others — which translate, in practice, into real support for families, a sincere ear for young people, and an open door for anyone searching for their way.

Our campus
Our campus

The Yaranu Nissim campus includes three buildings: a central building with a huge basement hall for large festive meals and events, with separate entrances for men and women in keeping with halacha; an annex with a small prayer room and a game room for youth; and a dedicated building housing the men's mikveh.

Rav Refael Rubin Head of the Yaranu Nissim institutions

Anyone lucky enough to know Rav Refael Rubin up close meets a man who gives entirely of himself. He is almost always on the move — traveling to 2 or 3 destinations across the country every day, teaching at every hour, available to anyone who reaches out. When he sees someone who is searching, he doesn't hesitate: he goes to them and offers his help, without judgment and without expecting anything in return.

The atmosphere he creates is simple, warm and welcoming — and it's contagious: anyone who spends even a short time within Yaranu Nissim meets a whole community of kind, big-hearted people, where warmth and the will to do good spread from one person to the next.

Special project

The Great Sukkah Project

For the festival of Sukkot, Rav Refael Rubin is leading the construction of a massive sukkah, built to host thousands of guests every day for a festive meal under its roof — completely free of charge. A project of this scale calls for real resources, and you're warmly invited to take part.
